Allen Morgan has spent 36 years in Silicon Valley working with the venture capital community and with startups. Approximately 20 years was as a startup lawyer with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Allen then spent 12 years as a partner in the oldest Silicon Valley VC firm, Mayfield Fund. Most recently Allen has spent 8 years as a sherpa to startups helping them with their funding and growth journeys, and has been on the board of Idealab in Pasedena California. As an angel/Venture Sherpa, Allen’s principal investment focus is on start-ups in the areas of eCommerce, consumer internet services (both consumer-facing and infrastructure), interactive entertainment, online advertising and new media.

As for schooling, Allen got an undergraduate degree (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Dartmouth College, a second bachelor's degree and master's degree from Oxford University (Christ Church) and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
David is the newest member of the Macdoch Ventures team joining in September 2016. David’s primary responsibility is sourcing Australian later stage startups looking to access Silicon Valley and the U.S. markets.
David has over 20 years of international banking and capital markets experience including with Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan, and Babcock & Brown having worked in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Sydney. David was previously the CEO of the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce in NSW where he led a number of trade missions to Israel meeting with Israeli entrepreneurs, startups and venture capitalists. David is also the President in NSW of Investors Org, an intimate and insightful forum for investors in the startup space.
David is also a founding board member of Kids Giving Back which provides, age appropriate, easily accessible, meaningful volunteering opportunities with a Mission to create the Next Generation of Generosity.
David has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has three teenagers that keeps him running.
